Following your feedback, we also post this information on Tapestry every half term for easy access.

Home Learning

The EYFS library trolley is open every Friday morning for children to choose a book which they can share with their parents/carers at home.

From the Spring term, a 'sound of the week' video will be uploaded to Tapestry every Friday for you to watch with your child. There is always an 'optional' sound hunt activity. Your child is invited to bring in their objects for the sound table on a Monday and we will return them on the Friday. The children's objects often inspire new interests, captivating conversations and new vocabulary. We have received a wealth of interesting objects so far....thank you for your superb contributions, parents and children.

A couple of reminders: Forest School is on a Monday and Library books need to be returned every Friday.

Tapestry

Tapestry is our online learning journal service. We will post observations of your child, their next steps and learning each week. 

Wrap-around:

For those wishing to extend their children’s hours, wrap-around care is available through St. Mary’s Pre-school, which operates in the Nursery classroom in the afternoon. This comprises a lunch club from 11.45am to 12.30pm and then an afternoon session from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. Parents can choose either one or both options, subject to availability.
