A warm welcome to Year 2 and our class page where you will find lots of useful information about the upcoming year.

Attached below (see 'Downloads' section) is the Spring Curriculum Letter, which will tell you all you need to know about our learning this term.

The Year 2 Team:

Teachers: Mr Worth (Monday to Friday), Mrs Dobbs (Thursday am), Mrs Christie (Friday am)

Support Staff: Mrs Evans, Miss Emery, and Mrs Wootton

P.E:

For the Summer term, PE days will change and will be taught on Tuesday (am) and Thursday (pm).

Please ensure your child comes into school wearing their full PE kits on these days (NB. black or navy base layers may be worn under PE kit in cold weather). Please note that earrings and jewellery cannot be worn for P.E. Please remove earrings on P.E. days.

Homework:

Homework will be posted on the Google Classroom on Thursday and should be returned the following Tuesday.

Please continue to read daily with your child and record your reading in the yellow Reading Record book. Please also send reading books and reading records in daily so we are also able to read with them at school throughout the week.
