Welcome to Year 1! The children have made a fabulous start to the year and have impressed us with how quickly they have settled in their new routines and environment. 

Here is some information you may need to know about Year 1:

PE:

Year 1 PE days are on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please ensure that your child arrives in their full PE kit on these days.

Forest School:

We will go to Forest School on Thursday afternoons. Please ensure that your child has suitable clothing for the weather conditions. 

Homework:

At the moment, the only homework will be to read daily with your child and record your reading in the yellow reading record. Reading books will be changed on Thursdays so please ensure they are inside book bags. 

After the Autumn half term, I will be posting homework on the Google Classroom on Thursdays, to be handed in on Tuesdays.
