On the 19th January, Mike from the Canal and River Trust came to talk to us about water safety and what to do in a water emergency. He told us about what the Canal and River Trust did and showed us a scene with lots of potential dangers. We had to spot the hazards and suggest ways to stop these happening. Then Mike taught us all about what to do if we saw a water emergency. If you see someone in trouble, run for the nearest life buoy and throw it to the person to help them stay afloat. After that, call 99 and ask for the Fire Brigade.
It was a really enjoyable and informative assembly.
