Remote Learning Ideas:

Here are some additional activities that you might like to complete when you have finished the remote learning I have set for you on Google Classroom.

* Go on a walk and have your own family Forest School style session. Head to  for some ideas on what you and your family could get up to.

*Complete a Joe Wicks workout.

*Try out some PE lessons provided by Game On.

*Head to the TopMarks website for some online maths and English games

*Log on to Purple Mash. You can access a range of activities for every subject.

* Have a look at the curriculum letter below. You may like to do some extra research around one of our class topics.

*Complete a yoga class. You can find lots of free kids yoga sessions online.

*Read, read and read some more! Now is the perfect time to find a good book to snuggle up with! And then please share with the class if you have found great reading material.

Have a look at these web sites:

1)    BBC bitesize: Just search for what you need.

 2)    White Rose Maths, which you can access here:

The White Rose Maths learning website offers daily video lessons. There are lessons for each year group every day with a Friday challenge and a link to that day’s BBC Bitesize page for more information and even more lesson content. Here you can look at any lessons you like. For example, you cou;d look at addition and subtraction lessons alongside the ones that have been set on Google Classroom. Choose harder lessons if you feel very confident or similar and easier ones to help your understanding or to practise. Have a look at this selection:

Just like with our class maths lessons, have a pen and piece of paper ready, pause the presentation, solve the calculations and then check your answers.

 3)   YouTube: it offers lots of instructional videos if you need a bit more input.
