Thank you to all those parents, carers and children who completed this year’s survey. All comments made by respondents have been shared with the Head, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Governing Body and careful consideration has been given to all matters raised.
Each year the Governing Body chooses to seek your feedback across a wide range of questions and statements and accepts that your response is both confidential and voluntary. We were pleased that so many of you endorsed the process by completing the survey and providing comments.
This year we used Surveymonkey successfully, which we felt was less time consuming for you and your children to complete and more informative for us in our analysis. This has produced a very different style of report.
To see the results of the 2015/16 Parent/Carer survey, please see here.
What Does the School and the Governing Body do with this feedback?
The Governing Body seeks feedback to the questionnaires as both a monitoring device for the existing School Development Plan as well as a mechanism by which parent/carer and pupil ‘voice’ can be included in the school’s planning process moving forward. As a result, the school’s SLT and Governing Body has reviewed the reports and discussed recommendations in full while considering the School
Development Plan for 2016/17 which was finalised at a Governing Body Strategy Meeting early in October 2016.
A summary of the School Development Plan for 2016/17 is here. The Governing Body monitors the school’s performance each half term against this plan.
The Feedback is being finalised in the Autumn Term.
2017 Christian Ethos Questionnaire
Parents and carers can give their views of our school at any time of the school year and at the time of a school inspection using an online questionnaire called Parent View.
When our school is notified of its next Ofsted inspection, parents will be invited to give their views about the school to inspectors using the Parent View online facility as this has replaced Ofsted’s paper questionnaire. Please make sure we have your most up-to-date contact details.
Please register with an email address and a password at https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk. Once your login has been activated, it only takes a few minutes to complete answers to 12 short questions.
Your views are important in helping inspectors make a decision about our school, and to help us know what is going well and what could be improved.
If you do not have a computer or an email address or if you would like help to use Parent View, please come into school and ask the school office.
