Situated in beautiful grounds in the village of Northchurch on the outskirts of Berkhamsted, St Mary’s Church of England Primary School is a one-form entry school for children between the ages of 3 and 11 years.
We are an ambitious and caring school and aim to make a real difference to the children who come here. We work in partnership with parents, St Mary’s Church and the local community to ensure our pupils are able to make the best possible progress in ALL aspects of their learning.
St Mary’s has a long, illustrious history. Our school was founded in 1864 and our building is a blend of Victorian and modern with a substantial refurbishment completed in October 2014. At St Mary’s every child’s personal development and well-being is important. Through our Christian values, a rich and exciting creative curriculum and a broad range of extra-curricular activities we are able to provide a tailored education which meets the interests and needs of each individual child.
The staff, governors, parents and pupils are fully committed to our vision of ‘Excellence Together, Learning through Faith’, ensuring each child is valued and reaches their full potential.
We are always delighted to welcome visitors to our lovely school.
